Project Manager
$45,000–$60,000/yr + performance bonus
Manage 15–20 active fence projects simultaneously using our digital platform. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from quote approval through final sign-off.
Responsibilities
- →Coordinate permit applications and 811 utility marking for each project
- →Schedule installation crews and manage daily field operations
- →Respond to customer messages in the portal within 2 business hours
- →Conduct pre-installation site walks and post-installation sign-offs
- →Identify and escalate warranty claims and installation issues
Requirements
- ✓2+ years in construction project management, landscaping, or a related field
- ✓Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities
- ✓Proficiency with smartphone apps and cloud-based tools
- ✓Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Lead Fence Installer
$22–$30/hr based on experience + overtime
Lead a 2–3 person crew installing wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain-link fencing across Southern Indiana. You'll be the face of Finance-A-Fence on every job site.
Responsibilities
- →Lead daily installation crews to complete 1–2 residential projects per day
- →Ensure workmanship meets Finance-A-Fence quality standards
- →Upload job-site progress photos to the customer portal throughout the day
- →Operate post-driver, compactor, and standard power tools safely
- →Maintain vehicle and tool inventory; submit supply requests weekly
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of fence installation or comparable exterior construction experience
- ✓Ability to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- ✓Valid Indiana driver's license; CDL preferred
- ✓OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- ✓Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
Full-Stack Engineer
$85,000–$115,000/yr + equity
Help build and scale the software platform that powers Finance-A-Fence — including our customer portal, real-time project tracker, instant calculator, and financing integrations.
Responsibilities
- →Build new features across the Next.js frontend and Express/Prisma API
- →Maintain and extend our Stripe, Wisetack, and Cloudinary integrations
- →Improve API performance with caching, pagination, and query optimization
- →Participate in code review, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
- →Write tests and maintain documentation for your implementations
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of full-stack development with TypeScript
- ✓Strong proficiency in React/Next.js and Node.js
- ✓Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM (Prisma preferred)
- ✓Familiarity with payment processing APIs (Stripe a strong plus)
- ✓Experience with Redis, BullMQ, or other message queue systems
Customer Support Specialist
$38,000–$46,000/yr + quarterly bonus
Serve as the first point of contact for Finance-A-Fence customers via phone, email, and portal messaging. Help customers navigate quotes, financing applications, and project status.
Responsibilities
- →Answer inbound calls and emails within published response time targets
- →Help customers use the customer portal and financing application
- →Escalate technical issues to Project Managers and engineering team
- →Maintain customer records accuracy in our CRM
- →Collect and log customer feedback for product improvement
Requirements
- ✓1+ year of customer service experience (construction or financial services a plus)
- ✓Strong written communication skills — you'll type a lot
- ✓Comfort with technology; ability to learn new software quickly
- ✓Calm under pressure; empathetic with frustrated customers
