What type of wood do you use?
We primarily use pressure-treated southern yellow pine (most affordable) and western red cedar (premium, naturally rot-resistant). Redwood is available as a special order.
How long will my wood fence last?
With proper staining every 2–3 years, a quality wood fence lasts 15–20 years. Untreated fences may show significant weathering in 5–7 years.
How soon after installation should I stain?
Wait 6 months for pressure-treated pine to fully dry before applying stain. Cedar can be stained immediately.
